India is the great Nation of Integrity and Unity. It believes in harmonic existence and mutual progress. This can only be done when its people, livelihood, occupation, education, natural resources, boundaries, religious beliefs are protected and practiced without any internal or external interferences. This is the sole foundation of a mature and peaceful Nation.

Mazoon ud-Da'wat Saiyedi Sa'eed ul-Khayr Imaaduddin saheb DM said that, "The Land of our Nation India is our Beloved Mother. The source of our Life and Faith. Maulaana Ali al-Murtazaa AS is the base of our faith, so we can come to a rightful conclusion that each and every part of our Mulk reminds us to the greatness of our Maulaa who owns it. Earth is Alavi Land. We are its children and its our responsibility to beautify it and protect it from filth and pollution. Maulaa guided and guarded us from the dirt of disloyalty and disbelief. This is the true Freedom towards our religion of a faithful citizen of our country. This beautiful step of tree plantation under the slogan, "Ek Ped Buzurgo ke Naam", reminds us the period of our 14th Imaam Maulaana Ma'ad al-Mo'iz AS, when in 363 AH/973 AD in Cairo, he ordered to plan a huge garden in the heart of the city where he planted 1024 date-palms. He said that, This green space will give the city fresh air and cool atmosphere."

Alavi Nature Group headed by SDH Mukaasir ud-Daw'at Saiyedi Mohammad Bhaisaheb Nuruddin saheb DM organized Flag hoisting and Tree plantation on 79th Independence day, 15th August 2025, Friday, 8:30 am, Alavi Bohra Cemetery, Dabhoi road, Pratapnagar, Vadodara. Around 200 Alavis participated in this green initiative programme where along with National fervor and patriotic ambiance, 172 plants of various species were planted by Mayyet committee, children of Madrasah Taiyebiyah, ladies of Alavi Nature Group and those present. 350 years old Bi'r e Shehaabi was given colourful touch by placing pots of all-season flowering plants. To educate people in keeping Qabarastaan-graveyard clean, lively, plastic-free, green and homely 8 hanging boards were placed at its entrance. Hudood recited the kalaam composed by Mukaasir Maulaa,

"Parcham Hamaaro Aa'laa, Pooru Jahaan Hamaaru, Har Simt Nazar aawe, Alavi Nishaan Hamaaru" and "Humm agar sanware, sanwar jaayegi Qismat Qaum ki, Dil woh kya Dil hai, na ho jis Dil mai Ulfat Qaum ki."

Members brought their garden cuttings with them and after the programme ended they exchanged it and some of them even planted near the graves of their loved ones. Different species planted in the Qabarastaan-graveyard were:

Messages of Alavi Nature Group:

1. For all of us, Jannat ul Mumineen Qabarastaan-graveyard is not less than Paradise, so let's work together and make it look a part of it.
2. Our relatives and forefathers are buried here. We should beautify the place of their burial by plantation.
3. We can feel beauty and the charm of the land when it is free from trash and bad-smell.
4. Qabarastaan-graveyard is the first step of the Nooraani ladder of Aakherat. So it's very important to keep the place clean and maintain silence.
5. Plastic makes Water and Soil toxic. It chokes the natural process. So when we bring such things, either we must discard it into dustbin or take it along with us.
6. TEAM work wins. We all should realise the wake-up call of the Nature. Plant trees as much as we can. Greenery will save us from all kinds of stress.
7. Qabarastaan-graveyard is our timeless heritage. To protect it is our collective responsibility.
8. We should do such graceful efforts for this peaceful resting place that our Marhumeen may get Rahmat and Panjatani blessings in their graves.

On 7th May 2022, Alavi Nature Group (ANG) completed 2 years. During this period, its members took active part in different events regarding to clean and sustainable environment.  This community group has been created to bring like-minded people together who love to create and protect green spaces around them. Discussions on fruitful ideas often sow seeds of creativity.  On the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2022, ANG members were felicitated for their efforts in the initiative “Free the Tree” in the presence of huge crowd of environment enthusiastics.  The creator and mentor of this group, Mukaasir ud-Da’wat Saiyedi saheb DM remained present on this great moment.

As a part of commemoration of World Environment Day, by the Razaa Mubaarak of Huzoor e ’Aali TUS, ANG members distributed saplings to the Mumineen who regularly come to the Masjid for the Fajr Namaaz.  88 saplings were distributed at Taiyebi Masjid on Sunday 12th June 2022.  Ra’s ul Hudood saheb along with Khuddaam remained present to support this distribution by ANG.  Purpose of distribution of saplings to the Mumineen after Namaaz was - not only Namaaz but Environmental Conservation is also a part of worship.

Under the aegis of Anjuman-e-Fakhri, Tree Plantation program was held at Jannat ul-Mumineen Qabarastaan, Pratapnagar, on the dast-e-mubaarak of Mukaasir saheb Saiyedi Mohammad Nuruddin saheb (dm) on 17 Shawwaal 1436/2-8-2015, Sunday.  Saiyedi saheb said that, “This is a unique thing which should be done periodically and it adds to the safe and serene living and makes our environment rich and lively.  I love trees and while laying it at Daar us-Salaam, I myself do it with utmost care.  Before the Intiqaal of Maulaa Muqaddas Bawaji saheb, he expressed his wish to grow different Mango trees (amba).  To fulfill his wish I planted different amba variety at Daar us-Salaam near his room where he used to spend his whole evening.  I am happy that today you all have planned to plant saplings of fruit-bearing trees and it has been mentioned in Qur’an-e-Hakeem as “Shajarah Mubaarak”.  Mumineen are like fruit-offering and flower-blossoming plants where people readily loves to go to get its fragrance and taste. 

The mubaarak tree of Panjatan-e-Paak is always evergreen in which Rasoolullaah (saws) is its roots, Maulaana ‘Ali (as) is its trunk, Maulaatona Faatemah (as) is its branches, Imaam Hasan and Imaam Husain (as) is its flowers and fruits and Shi’ah is its leaves. ”

Saiyedi saheb added that, “Rasoolullaah (saws) did naseehat to ahl-e-Islaam that Allaah Ta’aala has not decided the reward of these three things meaning it bears huge reward when done keeping in mind the importance of the service to Makhlooq-mankind.  1) Planting Trees for better environment, 2) Constructing Roads for better commuting and 3) Digging Wells for better household.  If people follow this with sincerity and cooperation then there will remain no doubt that it will help in creating strong base for social and environmental benefit.  Surely “PLANTS” stands for “Please Let A Nature To Survive” and “TREE” stands for “Treasure and Resource for Environmental Enrichment”.  Since the creation of Humans, trees hold an undisputed place in bringing liveliness, peace and tranquility to their lives.  The tree of “Tooba” in paradise is such that every jannati gets an opportunity to have a taste of its fruits and every fruit has a different taste and aroma.  Its shadow is spread everywhere in Jannat.  So, this place is Jannat ul-Mumineen where mumineen are being buried since 300 yrs and to plant trees in such a mubaarak place is like making efforts to get the shadow of Tooba in paradise.”
